Participants will learn to form sheets of paper by hand and then add dimension by using screen printing techniques with pigmented paper pulp instead of traditional inks. The techniques explored in Paper Pulp Printing are inspired by paper art works in Ursula von Rydingsvard: The Contour of Feeling. This workshop is instructed by Nicole Donnelly of paperTHINKtank, a community accessible hand papermaking studio in Philadelphia that produces sustainable and local handmade paper and books using invasive plants and renewable resources.
