A traditional first wedding anniversary gift is PAPER, and what a special treat it was to help two couples at the beginning of October warmly celebrate their first year together! Both wanted the gift of an experience and shared memories.

Papermaking is the act of making something concrete and tangible from something you can barely grasp, the watery clouds slipping right through your fingers – but of course that’s why we use a mould and deckle.

This 2-hour workshop is a great way to preserve special ephemera, to explore personal creativity and collaboration with a partner, and to truly engage the senses.
